First circus experience

Tonight we went to the Shriner circus here in Laredo. We got tickets through Val's work and were excited to see how Jacqui would like it. I think it's safe to say she was a big fan- I wish I could have gotten pictures of her once the actual show started; she danced, climbed on chairs, laughed, clapped and stared in awe. It was a definite success. :)

Stickers!

Jacqui is VERY into stickers right now. I found these Dora sticker booklets for Walmart for a dollar and they have changed our lives! J is SO entertained with them. :)

Have some apple with your dip

J is really big into dipping things lately. Here are a couple shots of her enjoying some Caramel Toffee Dip with her apple.

18 months old

We celebrated Jacqui's half birthday last week with a picnic lunch outside in the finally bearable Laredo weather. She was a fan!

MDO

Jacqui started Mother's Day Out in the beginning of September and we have loved it! Here are some pics of her first day!

Labor Day vacation 2012

This year we spent a few days in DC at Katy and Matt's apartment before heading to Catonsville to spend time with everyone else.

We had a full weekend which included a lot of running, some Smithsonian museum trips, delicious restaurants, and some much needed relaxation time with the family.

J was primarily interested in climbing steps, but we did what we could to enrich her 18 month old self. ;) I on the other hand got to see a Blackbird SR-71 in PERSON!!!!!! Highlight of my day!

The difference between J and other kids...

J is a climber. There's no way around it. We're big on nurturing this behavior because it's so much a part of her personality. This means we happen upon some interesting scenes at home. Enjoy!

Full ponytail

Seriously, can you believe it? This hair lasted less than a minute but I totally got it in a full ponytail- at 18 months old- this girl has some major hair!
